In today's rapidly changing world, the ability to adapt is no longer a luxury but a necessity. This keynote will explore the strategies and mindset required to navigate organizational change confidently. We'll dive into the importance of embracing change as an opportunity rather than a threat and discuss practical techniques to build resilience and foster innovation.
Artificial intelligence is going to do many things for us in the decades ahead, and replace humans at many tasks, but one thing it will never be able to do is to create person-to-person connections. If you want to thrive in the age of AI, you better become exceptionally good at connecting with others,” writes David Brooks in How to Know a Person. In this session, you’ll participate in a low-pressure exercise that creates connections and develops skills that improve working relationships and outcomes.
Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Boomers… How many different generations do you work with? Do differences in communication styles impact the ways you collaborate with people of other generations? This session will share some of the trends in both written and spoken communication across generations—and provide you with strategies for connecting authentically across generations.
This session begins with a brief 5-minute survey to determine each participant's predominant leadership style, serving as both an icebreaker and a networking opportunity. Following the survey, the presenter will lead a seminar-style discussion on the seven primary leadership styles, delving into their unique characteristics and implications. This approach not only enhances understanding of leadership dynamics but also encourages engaging conversations among attendees.
In today's digitally interconnected world, cyber attacks have become a prevalent threat to organizations of all sizes. With the increasing dependency on technology, understanding common cyber attacks and how to mitigate them is crucial for maintaining security and protecting sensitive information. This presentation aims to provide an in-depth analysis of the most common cyber attacks, their impact, and best practices for defense.
There is an increasing need in today’s workplace for interpersonal skills, mental agility, critical thinking, teamwork, and influencing others. This workshop will focus on influencing skill development for both supervisory and non-supervisory staff. It will involve a mix of didactic presentations and experiential exercises to learn and demonstrate new skills.
Have you ever presented what you thought was an amazing idea, only to be met with blank stares and head scratches? Simply describing your product, service, or vision, is not enough to persuade your audience to buy, achieve team goals, or invest. No matter how compelling your data points are, you must be able to bring to life the values behind what you do so that you become relatable. This workshop will show you how to create a persuasive personal story, using a replicable method that businesses around the world have been deploying for more than 20 years.
Writing with AI can make the process smoother and quicker. Or, it can end up confusing your readers—if the writing doesn't sound like you. Luckily, with a few easy strategies, you can speed up the writing process while still "showing up" on the page as yourself. This session will share strategies for using AI to reduce time spent writing—while still sounding authentic and avoiding "bot speak."
We will begin with a networking session and then move on to a seminar/lecture on the four components and 12 sub-sets of emotional intelligence.
Exercise is powerful medicine. We will be moving together as a group proving to one another that our bodies are our machines, and they are meant to move in order for us to feel the best we can.
By setting realistic goals, seamlessly incorporating physical activity into your routine, prioritizing sleep and nutrition, practicing mindfulness, and establishing clear boundaries, we can create a sustainable and effective approach to maintaining health and wellness while excelling in your professional endeavors.

Being a successful leader depends on many factors, some that we have no control over and others that we have little influence upon. The following seven components give you the best chance in being successful in almost any workplace and environment. 1. Know self (power, talents, skills, challenges and blind spots; practice mindfulness and become a stalker of self) 2. Know others (relationship building and maintaining; develop effective communication skills) 3. Know organization (energy flows and blockages, values and culture) 4. Be comfortable with change, embracing transitions and managing polarities 5. Appreciate the differences between management and leadership (influence) 6. Continue to develop your emotional intelligence 7. Stay well and resilient"
Conflict resolution is about finding peaceful solutions to disagreements, which can be personal, professional, financial, political, emotional, etc. Negotiation is often the best approach when conflicts arise yet finding the “right” words can be challenging. In this session, participants will learn how to apply improv techniques to manage emotions, improve communication, and develop skills to prevent future conflicts. If reducing stress, being present, making quicker decisions, and focusing on the moment are things you want in your life so that you may create more positive outcomes when dealing with conflict, then this session is for you!
