Ahlan wa Sahlan! Welcome to Arabic for Beginners, which will introduce you to a vibrant language spoken by almost 360 million people, its religious and cultural importance extending far beyond North Africa and the Middle East. The course will focus on key conversational scenarios as well as on literacy and cultural considerations. At the end of the course, students will be able to communicate their basic needs in speaking and writing in any Arab country. The instructor has worked for more than six years in the Middle East and has taught Arabic at CNM, Wayland Baptist University and UNM CE for six years.
