Albuquerque’s real estate market is on the rise, and now is a great time to start a new career as a Real Estate Agent with help from UNM Continuing Education!

UNM Continuing Education offers a week night pre-licensing program, totaling 90 credit hours. There are three sections: Real Estate Law (30 hours), Real Estate Principles and Practice (30 hours), and Broker Basics (30 hours). Students will study and discuss all the New Mexico Real Estate Commission’s required topics for the pre-licensing. Register for all three courses above and receive 10% off  - call 505.277-0077 (option 1).

Students will earn accreditation toward the New Mexico state licensure examination with successful completion of this program.

UNM Continuing Education also offers mandatory courses for current realtors.

Class Name

This four (4) hour commission‐approved continuing education course that all brokers are required to complete annually as a condition of license renewal. The intention of the CORE course is to deliver the material and content in a format that encourages adult learning and with a focus creating betted educated licensees who are aware of how to best lower E&O claims both in quantity and dollar amounts.

Class Name

Gain an understanding of the general legal principles of real estate, focusing primarily on contract and agency law. Learn the current rules and regulations of the New Mexico Real Estate Commission. Are you almost ready to take your two state exams to become a New Mexico Real Estate Broker? Ready for one final review? This 8‐hour session may be just what you need. While this session will not reteach all the items in the 90 hours of pre‐licensing classes, it will take you through the high lights of all the items listed in both National and State exam outlines found in the New Mexico Real Estate Commission Candidate Information Bulletin. It is also an opportunity to ask clarifying questions. Keep in mind, this is a fast‐paced session and an intense emersion into the key points of the test outlines. Note taking is a must. If you have studied your pre‐licensing notes, you will leave the all‐day session with a refreshed perspective of the material your test will be based. Required Materials: The textbook from your pre‐licensing classes, your class notes, and a copy of the 2019 Version of the New Mexico Real Estate License Law and Real Estate Commission Rules (available for download from the NM Real Estate Commission Web site).
