Computer Aided Drafting

Autodesk AutoCAD is one of the world’s leading 2D and 3D Computer Assisted Drafting (CAD) design tools used by architects, engineers and other professionals who require computer drafting and drawing techniques in their work. Come learn AutoCAD from an instructor who has mastered the program and uses it in the workplace.

Register and complete any of our AutoCAD classes and receive access to the AutoCAD student version for three years at no charge. The student version contains the same AutoCAD software as the commercial version, but is to be used for student work only. Access information for the student version is provided at the first class session.

Compare and contrast CAD and manual drafting methods and learn the essentials of drawing organization and layer management. Explore the use of blocks, fonts, and automatic dimensioning features.
