All Digital Arts programs are designed to prepare students for an internship, entry-level employment or business.

Half-time to full-time students should be able to complete one master certificate in two semesters or fewer. A schedule of 12 or more classes in a semester is full-time. Six classes is half-time.


About The Graphic Design & Visual Communication Curriculum

Our Graphic Design certificate program offers curriculum in graphic design theory and related software. Basic design principles are covered in course 55101 Graphic Design I. This class provides the foundation for all other Graphic Design courses. Basic understanding of computer graphics software, including an overview of raster and vector graphics, is covered in 56101 Computer Graphics: Raster and Vector Art. This class is a prerequisite to all other computer graphics courses. We recommend taking these two classes early in your curriculum.
