Refunds
Program Fees, minus a 10% cancellation fee per non-credit class, will be refunded if we RECEIVE a WRITTEN request three days prior to the first scheduled class, unless otherwise noted on the course description. No refunds will be issued after this deadline. If you registered online you may cancel your registration through your student portal. If you registered over the phone or in person please contact the registration office at ceregistration@unm.edu. There is a no drop policy for online, asynchronous courses - no refunds will be issued after registration.
Please note:- Immediate cash refunds are not given for withdrawal from a class or when a class is canceled. Per UNM policy, if payment was made with cash or check, a social security number is required for a refund. If a refund is due or if overpayment has been made by check, there is a 21 business day hold period from the payment receipt date before the refund is processed. Credit card refunds will be credited to the original charge card used in the initial enrollment transaction.
Transfer Policy
Transfers from one non-credit course to another can be made at least three days prior to start of class, unless otherwise noted in the course description. A student may request a transfer in lieu of requesting a refund without incurring a cancellation fee. Email ceregistration@unm.edu.
Please note some restrictions apply. Several courses have different deadlines due to the requirements of the course. Programs with these restrictions will be notated on the course description. Transfers will not be granted for online, asynchronous courses.
UNM Continuing Education Discounts
A 10% discount is available towards the enrollment fees for UNM Continuing Education non-credit classes, for:
- Registration of three or more eligible classes in the same transaction
- Organizations registering three or more employees in the same class
- Osher Members receive a 10% discount on qualifying Personal Enrichment courses
- Some restrictions may apply
